Harrison Barnes averaged 9.5 points and 4.0 rebounds in his second NBA season. After being named to the 2012-13 NBA All-Rookie First Team, the swingman became part of the team’s reserve unit in the wake of the Andre Iguodala acquisition. Despite the change in his role, Barnes’ scoring average still improved from his rookie campaign and he became the third Warriors player ever to participate in the Rising Stars Challenge at NBA All-Star Weekend as both a rookie and second-year player. In addition, Barnes became the first Warriors player since Jason Richardson in 2004 to take part in the dunk contest at All-Star Weekend.
