Warriors Basketball Camp is gearing up for an action-packed summer with more than a dozen sessions taking place throughout the Bay Area, including the Warriors Practice Facility in Downtown Oakland. Catching Up With Sleepy Floyd

On May 10, 1987, Eric “Sleepy” Floyd became a Warriors legend. The Warriors guard scored 29 points in the fourth quarter of a Western Conference Semifinal contest against the Lakers, leading a 15-point second-half comeback and helping the team stave off elimination. We celebrate the 25th anniversary of that epic performance as we Catch Up With Sleepy Floyd.

Warriors In 7th Pre-Lottery Position

Following tie-breakers that were held earlier today to break ties among teams that finished the 2011-12 NBA regular season with identical records to help determine the order of selection for the 2012 NBA Draft, the Golden State Warriors have emerged with the pre-lottery slotted positions of #7 & #30 in the First Round and #35 & #52 of the Second Round. Myers Promoted To General Manager

The Warriors have promoted Bob Myers to General Manager, the team announced on April 24. Larry Riley, who has spent the last four years in the Warriors’ front office – including the last 12 months as General Manager/Executive VP of Basketball Operations – will remain with the organization as the team’s Director of Scouting.
