HIGH-DEFINITION (HD) GAMES
For the first time, NBA TV broadcasts live NBA games in HD. Viewers with HD capability can experience live NBA action in the brilliance of high-definition for several games this season. HD game broadcasts are available on channel 198 for DirecTV customers and on channel 9425 for EchoStar customers. Also, NBA TV is scheduled to televise up to seven games of NBA Playoffs 2003 in high-definition television (HDTV).

NEW PROGRAMMING
Biography Series is a 30-minute show that features biographies on many of the NBA's greatest players. Hosted by Ron Burke, the NBA TV Biography Series airs on Thursday from 8-8:30 p.m. ET and debuts a new profile on a monthly basis.

Hardwood Classics features some of the greatest games in NBA history, along with commentary and fresh interviews with key players, officials and league insiders from that time. Hosted by Mark Morgan, Hardwood Classics airs on Thursday from 4-6 p.m. ET.

NBA TV Insiders is a 30-minute show that provides a topical nightly look at the NBA news and events of the day. Hosted by Spero Dedes, NBA TV Insiders features league and team officials, players, officials, broadcasters and media members, and airs live Monday through Friday from 6:30-7:00 p.m. ET, on Saturday and Sunday on tape at 1:00 a.m., and re-airs every day at 12 p.m. ET.

Over Time gives viewers a unique perspective on the life and times of some of the NBA’s greatest players. Digging deep into the archives of NBA Entertainment, Over Time presents interviews with the game’s stars from various times during their careers, providing a sense of how these players evolved through the decades. The clips are introduced by a studio host, who discusses the events that were happening in the NBA and the world, at the time the interview was shot. The show airs on Thursday at 6 p.m. ET.

Virtual GM presented by Gatorade is a 30-minute show dedicated to fantasy basketball. Hosted by fantasy hoops guru Rick Kamla, Virtual GM presented by Gatorade presents a complete rundown of that night's action from a fantasy perspective, and enables fans to send e-mails or call in for advice on how to improve their teams. The show airs seven nights per week live from 1:30-2:00 a.m. ET and re-airs the next day at 12:30 p.m. ET.
