That time of year is almost here again, hoop heads. On Oct. 31, the 61st season in NBA history kicks off, and NBA Entertainment is gearing up for tip off with three promotional television spots that will air on TNT, ESPN, NBA TV and NBA TV Broadband.

The promos take you behind the scenes and into the houses, locker rooms and pre-game rituals of the NBA's top stars, with players preparing for the season as they would a game. We see Shaq kissing his wife goodbye before he leaves for work, Steve Nash shooting with a coach in a empty gym and Dwight Howard pumping iron with a trainer offering motivation.

Fans, mascots and arena personnel also make their way into the 30-second spots. The NBA regular season begins Oct. 31 with Chicago visiting Miami at 8 p.m. ET and the Lakers hosting the Suns at 10:30 p.m. ET as part of a TNT double-header.
