Chicago Bulls forward Andres Nocioni scored 21 points and Detroit Pistons guard Carlos Delfino added 14 as Argentina devoured Turkey, 83-58, to move into the semifinals.
Former San Antonio Spurs draft pick Luis Scola added 13 points for the Argentines (7-0), who shot 49 percent (30-of-61) from the field and cruised to victory despite an eight-point fourth quarter.
Argentina has won its games by an average of 23.9 points. It may finally face a challenge in Friday's semifinals from Spain, which also has stormed unbeaten through the tournament.
"Some games, you have a good matchup against, some others you don't," said Spurs guard Manu Ginobili, who scored seven points in just 16 minutes. "I believed before the game that Turkey was a great matchup for us. But Spain is the opposite."
Argentina has lost its last nine meetings with Spain, including a pair of exhibition games earlier this summer. Nocioni sent an early message with a 3-pointer 39 seconds into the game. In its round of 16 victory over New Zealand, Argentina missed its first 17 shots from the arc.
Turkey held a 14-13 lead on Cenk Akyol's second 3-pointer before a 15-footer by Scola gave Argentina the lead for good. A three-point play by Nocioni followed, and Argentina used a 7-0 run for a 25-16 lead after one period.
Forward Kerem Gonlum's tap-in made it 28-20 with 8:05 to go, but the Turks scored just three points the rest of the period as the Argentines opened a 43-23 halftime lead.
"The truth is, we went out to eat them," Nocioni said. "We didn't let them get comfortable on the court. Every pass, every shot - we made it awkward for them. But let's not kid ourselves, this Turkish side has great talent and is a very good team."
Turkey (5-2) made the most of its wild card into this tournament, winning its first four games in difficult Group C before losing to rival Greece despite the absence of NBA stars Mehmet Okur and Hedo Turkoglu. It eliminated Slovenia in the round of 16 before running into a powerhouse.
Akyol scored 11 points and Serkan Erdogan added 10 for the Turks, who shot just 37 percent (22-of-59) and committed 19 turnovers. They will play Lithuania on Thursday in a classification game.
"We achieved our aim of reaching the quarterfinals, but between fifth and eighth there is too much difference, so we will try to finish fifth," forward-center Kaya Peker said. "We will be focused on this now. Of course we are upset, we know they are a good team; they are Argentina."
Spurs forward Fabricio Oberto scored 10 points for Argentina.
