The players below are eligible to become free agents as of July 1, 2005. As per the new Collective Bargaining Agreement that was agreed in principle on June 21, free agents will be permitted to negotiate, but may not sign new contracts until July 22.

*Restricted free agent identifies a player that can sign an offer sheet that can be matched by his current team.
*Player option identifies a player who can decide to extend his contract one year.
*Team option identifes a player whose team has the option to extend his contract one year.
*Player can terminate identifies a player who can terminate his contract after the 2004-05 season.
