The Timberwolves play the Nets on Tuesday night in Brooklyn. We take a look at four players who used to play for the Wolves in preparation for the game.

Sean Kilpatrick

Kilpatrick briefly appeared in a Wolves uniform during the 2014-15 season. After signing a 10-day contract with Minnesota in March of that season, he appeared in four games. Kilpatrick averaged 5.5 points, 1.5 rebounds and one steal in his time with the Wolves.

Kilpatrick went on to sign 10-day contracts with the New Orleans Pelicans and the Denver Nuggets, before landing a multi-year contract with the Nets in the offseason.

Kilpatrick, a 26-year-old New York native, is in his third NBA season and on his third team. So far this season, he is averaging 17 points (which is the highest among reserve players in the NBA), 4.2 rebounds, two assists and 1.2 steals per game with Brooklyn.

Justin Hamilton

Hamilton played for Minnesota during the 2014-15 season, appearing in 17 games. In his time with the Wolves, Hamilton averaged nine points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.1 steals.

Hamilton was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers with the 45th pick (second round) of the 2012 NBA Draft. The next day, he was traded to the Miami Heat, who released him before the 2013 season. Towards the end of the 2013-14 season, Hamilton signed a 10-day contract with the Charlotte Bobcats before signing on for the rest of the season with Miami. In 2015, he was traded to the New Orleans Pelicans as part of a three-team trade that sent Goran Dragic to the Heat. After being waived later that season, Hamilton signed with Minnesota for the rest of the season. Hamilton signed a multi-year contract with the Nets in the offseason.

Hamilton, a 26-year-old Calif. native, is in his third NBA season this year and on his fourth team. He is averaging eight points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game this season.

Randy Foye

Foye played with the Wolves from 2006 to 2009, appearing in 191 games. In his three seasons with the Wolves, Foye, who started in 104 of those games, averaged 13 points, 2.9 rebounds and 3.7 assists a game during that span.

Foye was selected by the Boston Celtics with the seventh overall pick in the 2006 NBA Draft, before he was traded to the Portland Trail Blazers and then to Minnesota (in exchange for Brandon Roy) that night. Foye was traded to the Washington Wizards in the 2009 offseason, a trade which resulted in Minnesota drafting Ricky Rubio that year. He went on to sign with the Los Angeles Clippers in 2010 and the Utah Jazz in 2012. In 2013, Foye was traded by the Jazz to the Denver Nuggets in a three-trade that sent Andre Iguodala to the Golden State Warriors. Three years later, Foye was traded by Denver to Oklahoma City. In the offseason, Foy signed with the Nets.

Foye, a 33-year-old New Jersey native, is in his 12 NBA season this year and is on his seventh team. Foye hasn’t appeared in a game so far this season for the Nets, due to a hamstring injury.

Anthony Bennett

Bennett appeared in a Wolves uniform during the 2014-15 season, playing in 57 games. During that span, he averaged 5.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and just under one assist per game while mainly coming off the bench.

Bennett was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft. About a month later, Bennett was part of a three-team blockbuster trade that sent Bennett, Andrew Wiggins and Thaddeus Young to Minnesota in exchange for Kevin Love. Following his time with the Wolves, Bennett returned home to play for the Toronto Raptors for the 2015-16 season, until he signed with the Nets in the offseason.

Bennett, a 23-year-old Canadian, is in his fourth NBA season and is playing for his fourth team. He is averaging 5.3 points and one steal per game for Brooklyn this season.
