Timberwolves Dancers Offseason Blog: Camille

Hey Timberwolves fans,

I'm writing to you from Greece! I miss cheering on the Wolves, but I have to say I am enjoying the short break studying abroad.

I have had the chance to tour Athens, Olympia, Hydra, and other cities here. My favorite events so far have been lodging in the mountains at Delphi and climbing atop the Acropolis in Athens. You wouldn't believe how beautiful the views are! The locals in Greece are so friendly that I feel like I am at home. The food here is also great; have you ever had an authentic Gyro? Delicious! The one experience I could've lived without is the encounter with gypsy children who kicked me in the shin. My time away from Minnesota has been nothing but amazing, but by the end of the week I'll be getting back to reality working as a nanny, gymanstics coach, and dance instructor.

Over the summer I plan to train for a 10k so I can run with my ambitious dad and stay in shape. I've already got a few road trips planned with friends and am looking forward to the nice weather to relax under the sun. I can't even believe how fast my rookie season came and went! I'm going to keep dancing over the summer so I'll be prepared to strut into open auditions again this July. I can't wait to relive the memories and butterflies from last year!

Have a great summer,

Camille
