Kevin Love is the author of so many memorable moments through his play, but he does the same thing for Wolves fans on and off the court. Here is Timberwolves.com’s list of the Top 5 Most Memorable Kevin Love Moments from the 2013-14 season. These focus primarily on non-basketball plays, although some did happen on the court.

Honorable Mention With 10 seconds left in regulation and the Wolves down 103-100 to Orlando on Opening Night, Love took an inbound pass after splitting a pair of screens and drained a 3 from the wing. That shot sent the game into overtime and eventually propelled them to a 120-115 win. After the shot, Love motioned to the fans for noise as if to say the 2013-14 season is under way.

No. 5 Love began his Coat Drive six years ago as a rookie, and over that time he’s helped keep local kids in need warm during the winter. This year, the Kevin Love Coat Drive brought in more than 4,500 coats, bringing the running total to more than 11,000 over the past six years.
No. 4 This summer in Las Vegas, Love and longtime friend Kevin Durant became the first two players who committed to Team USA’s men’s basketball program for the upcoming 2014 World Cup. The two both played on Team USA’s squad in London and won Gold Medals in 2012, and they led the way for others committing to the team for the next competition cycle.
No. 3 When the Wolves were gathering for a captains practice in Los Angeles last June, Love and Ricky Rubio got together to star in one of our favorite NBA on ESPN commercials of the year. Love is driving in the NBA on ESPN RV when he sees a pair of signs for a Love Dial hotline. When he calls, he hears Ricky’s voice—wait, we mean it definitely wasn’t Ricky answering the phone.

No. 2 Another Love/Rubio connection: The Wolves asked Love to head to New York for the NBA Draft Lottery in May as its representative, and he gained fanfare on ESPN and beyond when he showed up sporting a Ricky Rubio doll as good luck. He said since the Wolves were currently in the ninth spot in the Draft order, it made sense to bring Ricky along to the party.
No. 1. It was the impromptu move of the season so far. Love hit an off-balance circus shot against the Knicks on Nov. 3, then turned to longtime Knicks fan Spike Lee in the front row and high-fived him as he headed back to the bench for a timeout. The Wolves improved to 3-0 after the 109-100 win.
