Minnesota kicked off the 2012 Summer League campaign with a 73-64 win over the Los Angeles Clippers at the Cox Pavilion. In this photo, center Paulo Prestes, a 2010 Timberwolves second round pick, puts up a shot against the Clippers.

Coby Karl was one of the team's most valuable players during Summer League 2012, particularly from behind the arc. He hit 6-of-7 3-pointers against Cleveland in a 78-65 win over the Cavs in Minnesota's third game, improving their record to 2-1.
