The Minnesota Timberwolves today announced the team's 2012 preseason schedule. The Wolves will play seven exhibition contests, including three off-site games: Wednesday, Oct 10 vs. Indiana at the Fargo Dome (Fargo, ND), Wednesday, Oct. 24 vs. Detroit at the MTS Centre (Winnipeg, Manitoba) and Friday, Oct. 26 vs. Milwaukee at the Resch Center in Green Bay, WI. The Wolves will serve as the home team for the games in Fargo and Winnipeg, and the visiting team for the contest in Green Bay.
The Minnesota Timberwolves FastBreak Foundation today announced that it will begin accepting applications from non-profit organizations for grants for the upcoming 2012-13 season. The application process will be open until Sept. 15, 2012. Over the past seven seasons, the Timberwolves FastBreak Foundation has given more than $450,000 through the grant application process to qualifying organizations.
