Wolves Add Kammron Taylor to SL Roster

The Minnesota Timberwolves have added Minneapolis native, Kammron Taylor to their summer league roster the team announced Friday. The University of Wisconsin alum joins recent Wolves draft picks Corey Brewer and Chris Richard along with Wolves regulars Randy Foye, Rashad McCants and Craig Smith on this year's team in Las Vegas.

Taylor had four-year averages of 10.0 ppg, 2.2 rpg and 1.7 apg in 119 contests at the University of Wisconsin. In his four seasons with the Badgers, the team went 99-34, including one 30-win season and two 20-win seasons. As a senior he averaged 13.3 ppg, 2.3 rpg and 1.9 apg as Wisconsin went 30-6. He was tied for the team lead with 32.8 mpg and connected on a team best 68 three-pointers.

The Timberwolves open their summer league play Monday, July 9 with a 7:30 (CDT) tip-off against the New Orleans Hornets. Games against San Antonio, L.A. Clippers, Memphis and Phoenix follow on July 11, 12, 14 and 15, respectively.
