Wolves Announce Thursday's Pre-Draft Prospect Workout Roster

The Minnesota Timberwolves today announced which draft prospects will participate in Thursday’s two workout sessions at the LifeTime Fitness Training Center in Target Center. The Wolves will conduct two workouts on Thursday and two more draft workouts on Friday. Follow Timberwolves.com and @mntimberwolves for complete coverage of the two-day event.

Below is a breakdown of the prospects who will be participating in Thursday’s workouts.

Thursday — Session 1:

J’Covan Brown, G, Texas — 2012 Big 12’s leading scorer at 20.1 points per game

Drew Gordon, F, New Mexico — Averaged a double-double (13.7 points, 11.1 rebounds) during his senior season

Miles Plumlee, C, Duke — Shot 61.0 percent as a senior while contributing 6.6 points and 7.1 rebounds per game for the Blue Devils; averaged 2.9 offensive boards per game as a senior 

Tomas Satoransky, G, Sevilla (Spain) — A 6-foot-7 point guard who shot 42.9 percent from the floor in 2011-12 for Sevilla 

John Shurna, F, Northwestern — Northwestern’s all-time leading scorer; 2012 Big Ten scoring champion at 20.0 points per game in conference play

Wesley Witherspoon, F, Memphis — Scored 7.1 points and added 3.7 rebounds during his senior season with Memphis; shot 44.4 percent from the field and 36.5 percent from 3-point range

Thursday — Session 2:

Quincy Acy, F, Baylor — One of two players in Baylor history to rank in the top 10 in scoring, rebounding, blocked shots and field goal percentage

Jae Crowder, F, Marquette — 2012 Big East Player of the Year and AP All-America Second Team; averaged 17.5 points and 8.4 rebounds per game last year 

Scott Machado, G, Iona — Led the NCAA in assists (327, 9.9 assists per game) in 2012; first player since 1993 to dish out more than 300 assists in a single season

Ramone Moore, G, Temple — 2012 All-Atlantic 10 First Team selection; led team and third in A10 in scoring with 17.3 points per game as a senior, scoring 20-plus points 10 times

Kevin Murphy, G, Tennessee Tech — Scored 20.6 points per game and shot 41.6 percent from 3-point range as a senior along with 5.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists

Casper Ware, G, Long Beach State — Long Beach State’s all-time leader with 545 assists and 205 steals during his four-year career; scored 17.4 points per game as a senior
