Wolves Announce 2012 Preseason Broadcast Schedule

The Minnesota Timberwolves today announced the broadcast dates for the team’s 2012 preseason schedule. Fox Sports North will televise two exhibition contests, while 830 WCCO-AM will carry two as well.

The Wolves' contest with the Chicago Bulls on Saturday, October 13 will be broadcast on Fox Sports North and 830 WCCO-AM. Fox Sports North will carry Minnesota's exhibition game on Wednesday, October 16 against Maccabi Haifa and 830 WCCO-AM will air the Wolves' final preseason matchup against Milwaukee on October 26 in Green Bay, Wis.

New television play-by-play announcer Dave Benz will team up with color analyst Jim Petersen to call 50 regular-season Wolves games on Fox Sports North this season. The pair will call an additional 25 games this season on WFTC My29, the Wolves' new exclusive over-the-air broadcast home.

830 WCCO-AM, the radio home of the Wolves, will also air all 82 regular-season games this season, with Alan Horton calling the action.
