Wolves Announce 2012 NBA Summer League Schedule

The Minnesota Timberwolves today announced the team's five-game schedule for the 2012 NBA Summer League, beginning with a contest against the Los Angeles Clippers on July 16 at COX Pavilion. A record 24 teams will compete in a 60-game schedule July 13-22 at the Thomas & Mack Center and the COX Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada Las Vegas. 

Of the 24 teams participating in this year's NBA Summer League, 11 of them advanced to the 2012 NBA Playoffs. The 2012 NBA Summer League will be the first chance to see many of the top 2012 NBA draft picks in action for their new teams. Currently, 13 of the 14 lottery picks in the 2012 NBA Draft are held by teams that will be participating in the 2012 NBA Summer League, including each team picking in the top-5: the New Orleans Hornets (1st), Charlotte Bobcats (2nd), Washington Wizards (3rd), Cleveland Cavaliers (4th) and Sacramento Kings (5th).

NBA TV will televise all 60 games, including 39 live from both the Thomas & Mack Center  and  COX Pavilion. Games will also be available on digital platforms. Complete broadcast information will be released at a later date.

All general admission tickets are $25 for the day; seniors and children (3-12) are $15 for the day; and children two years and under are admitted free of charge.
