Timberwolves Announce 2010 Preseason Schedule


Highlights Include NBA Europe Live Games in London and Paris as well as an Exhibition Game in Syracuse, N.Y.

Minneapolis/St. Paul - The Minnesota Timberwolves today announced the team's 2010 preseason schedule. The Wolves will play eight preseason games, highlighted by the team's second NBA Europe Live appearance in which Minnesota will play games in London and Paris. The exhibition schedule also features a game in Syracuse, N.Y., where Wolves players Jonny Flynn and Wesley Johnson starred in college.

The Wolves will open their preseason schedule against the Los Angeles Lakers on Oct. 4 at The O2 in London, and will face the New York Knicks on Oct. 6 in Paris at the Palais Omnisports Paris Bercy. After returning from Europe, the Wolves will host the Denver Nuggets at Target Center on Oct. 12. The remainder of the preseason schedule features home-and-home sets against the Pacers (Oct. 13 in Indiana; Oct. 19 at Target Center) and Bucks (Oct. 17 in Sioux Falls; Oct. 22 - in Milwaukee), along with a home game against Detroit at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, N.Y. on Oct. 15.

Individual tickets for the two Target Center preseason games will go on sale at a later date. The Wolves open their 22nd NBA regular season in the Twin Cities on Wednesday, Oct. 27 against the Sacramento Kings at Target Center (7 p.m.).
