The Timberwolves season came to an end Wednesday night with a win over the Utah Jazz. And to celebrate the conclusion of the team’s 25th season, the Wolves had a party-like atmosphere inside Target Center as they celebrated Fan Appreciation Night.

The Wolves not only celebrated getting back to .500 on the season and finishing 10 wins above last year, but they also honored the loyal fans that have stuck with them throughout the tough transitions and rebuilding process.

For Wednesday was an opportunity for those within the Timberwolves organization to give a big “Thank You” to all of their dedicated fans by celebrating Fan Appreciation Night.

“I haven’t been to a game in five years. It was amazing. I loved all the contests and giveaways for fans,” Kat Harrington of Woodbury said.

The night was composed of fun contests, t-shirt giveaways, Santa Claus handing out gifts and even the possibility of winning a road trip with the team in 2015. During the timeouts, fans were able to vote for which skits they wanted to see Crunch and the rest of the game operations perform as well as which in-game videos. The classic #PekGoesToo video from the team’s All-Star campaign was replayed to the fans’ delight.

Even the players had a chance to show fans some love by throwing some merchandise out to the crowd after the game.

“The Wolves’ event staff always does an outstanding job keeping it fun for the fans,” Shayla Stern of Minneapolis said. “And they definitely pull out all the stops on Fan Appreciation Night.”
