Wolves Announce 2006-07 Local Television Schedule

The Minnesota Timberwolves announced their local television schedule for the 2006-07 NBA campaign. A total of 70 Timberwolves games will be televised locally this season. The Wolves' over-the-air television schedule will feature 34 games on KSTC.TV Ch. 45, one game on KSTP-TV (Friday, March 9 at Miami) as well as 35 games on the FSN North cable and satellite package. The schedule will include 33 Target Center dates and 37 telecasts from the road.

The Wolves' local television schedule begins with the season opener on Nov. 1 vs. the Sacramento Kings (7 p.m.) at Target Center on KSTC.TV Ch. 45, which broadcasts the first three games of the Wolves' season. The FSN North schedule tips off on Monday, Nov. 6 at Sacramento (9 p.m.).

"We’re pleased to again be partnering with FSN North and KSTC.TV Ch. 45,” said Chris Wright, Timberwolves President. “This partnership will provide our fans the highest quality of Timberwolves broadcasts possible."

Other highlights in the Wolves' local broadcast schedule include Shaquille O'Neal and the defending NBA Champion Miami Heat's lone visit to Target Center on KSTC.TV Ch. 45 (March 30), two games against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers (Nov. 17 at Cleveland on KSTC.TV Ch. 45 and April 3 at Target Center on FSN North) and four games against Tracy McGrady, Yao Ming and the Houston Rockets on FSN North (Nov. 28, Dec. 6, Jan. 7 & Feb. 5).

Additionally, the Wolves local broadcast schedule will include 29 games against last season's Western Conference Playoff teams: Dallas (4), Denver (4), Los Angeles Clippers (3), Los Angeles Lakers (4), Memphis (3), Phoenix (4), Sacramento (4) and San Antonio (3).
