The Wolves continue a tough stretch as they battle the Eastern Conference’s first place team on Monday night.

This Week’s Results The Wolves are coming off of a 112-101 loss on the road to the Houston Rockets. Love led Minnesota with 27 points and 15 rebounds. Wing Corey Brewer finished 22 points and five steals. Kevin Martin scored 19 points, while center Nikola Pekovic finished with 14.

Previous to that, the Wolves beat the Brooklyn Nets after dropping a game to the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Pacers beat the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday, 106-98. Hibbert led the way with 27 points and 13 rebounds. George scored 18, while Lance Stephenson finished with 18. Previous to that, the Pacers won two straight games against the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics, respectively.

What To Watch: Corey Brewer vs. Paul George

One of the league’s best offensive players goes against one of the league’s best defensive players. Brewer had shut down Kevin Durant and Carmelo Anthony this season, and has done his fair of scoring, while George has been lighting up the Eastern Conference since the beginning of the season. If Brewer can shut down George on Monday night, the Wolves will have a good chance on upsetting the Pacers on the road.

Injury Report The Wolves will be without wing Chase Budinger, who is recovering from knee surgery. Turiaf (elbow) is out indefinitely. Indiana’s Danny Granger will not play.
