Timberwolves Coach Flip Saunders
"Turnovers were the game. Part of our ability to have success is our ability to not beat ourselves. When you give up 33 points on 18 turnovers, that means they're almost scoring every time you're turning the ball over. We beat ourselves."

"I thought the got extremely aggressive in the fourth quarter, and we didn't respond to their aggressiveness. Radmanovic put a little bit of one-man pressure, and they guarded people, and we jumped up in the air to throw passes and didn't make good decisions. They scored a lot off our offense. If you're a team that relies on execution and turn your strength into a negative, you are going to have problems."

Timberwolves Guard Troy Hudson
"I was the ringleader of the turnovers, so I take responsibility for that. I think there was no confidence, especially on my part. When I'd catch the ball, I was just throwing it instead of breaking my man down and keeping the ball in my hand. The reason we lost was because of the turnovers in the second half."

Timberwolves Guard Wally Szczerbiak
"It's coming down to the wire, and we have to win games like this. You've got to give them credit — they played hard — but to lose the game on mental mistakes is just really hard to take. We had them down on their homecourt most of the game, but we just couldn't maintain it."

Sonics Coach Nate McMillan
"We did exactly what we wanted to. We felt like if we were physical with this team tonight and kept pressure on them that in the fourth quarter, they would wear down. We were able to do that. We extended our defense at the right time. Those guys got aggressive on the defensive end of the floor. That created some turnovers, which allowed us a few points to go ahead of those guys."

Sonics Guard Ray Allen
"The defense tonight was tremendous. I caught myself sitting back and watching a few times because I wasn't as active on my guy. In that one stretch in the fourth quarter when we got those steals, it just blew the game open. They didn't know what hit them. We got a lot of easy baskets, and that helped our offense, too."
