Timberwolves Coach Flip Saunders
"He (Hudson) is the kind of guy (that) when he hits a few shots in a row, he can really get it going. You've seen that all season. He got us back in the game. He settled us down on offense and really got us going."

"We played harder and better. Defensively, our effort was much better. When you concentrate, you're going to play much better. They're a hard team to defend, though. I don't know many teams that have centers popping out for 'threes' like that."

"If we want to have any chance for number four, this was a must-win. With six games left, you can't go three down in the loss column. We had to have this. After last week's performance, you can't just go out there and all of a sudden play well. It took a few practices to iron a few things out."

"I like the fact that we're going on the road next. We have two practices before we leave for Phoenix. We have time for concentrated practices. We need to focus on what we're going to do for the next two weeks."

Timberwolves Guard Troy Hudson
"We had a three-game slide where we lost some games that we should've won. Tonight was a must-win for us. Yesterday we were focused in mentally, and tonight we came out and executed our game plan to a 'T'."

"I wanted to come in tonight and be more focused in on being aggressive on the offensive end, and not be too passive. I think the last couple of games I was too passive and turned down shots. Whenever I'm knocking down shots, it keeps the defense honest and the other guys can get their shots."

Timberwolves Guard Wally Szczerbiak
"We have to band together. These are big games. It's going to be a tough trip. We have to keep fighting and keep fighting. I thought we did a good job of riding the guys that were hot tonight. Troy played great and helped carry us to a victory. And KG was huge again down the stretch."

"He (Hudson) can score. When you're running pick-and-rolls and he's got the rhythm and the ball in his hands, we just milk him for as long as we can. He did a great job tonight. It was a big effort in a big game that we had to win."

Timberwolves Guard Kendall Gill
"It was good to get back on track, especially since we lost three the way we don't want to lose. We got embarrassed the two games prior to this one. We had to come back and get a big win."

"Our defense was much better. We didn't allow Ray Allen to get off and have a really big game. He still had 19 or 20 points, but he didn't go off for 30 or something like he's accustomed to doing. We held the other guys in check."

"Troy had a big game. We really needed that. Hopefully we can build off this and go into Phoenix and win, and Portland also. He was hot the whole game."

"Everybody contributed tonight, and that's what we need. It's not just one guy. When we play that way, we're tough to beat. Everybody needs to contribute. When the game's going down towards the line, we get Kevin the ball and let him do his thing."

Sonics Coach Nate McMillan
"I thought we did what we needed to win the game except for take care of the ball. We turned the ball over 14 on the stats but really 16 — we had two shot clock violations tonight — and we just can't afford to turn the ball over against a team that takes care of the ball. You've got to value every possession. We outrebounded this team tonight, we got to the free-throw line more than they did, but we didn't take care of the ball."

"We didn't manage the last few minutes well, as far as managing the clock. We turned the ball over twice when it was a four-point game... We have nights when guys are shooting the ball well, and nights when we're struggling from the perimeter, even when we get open looks. But I thought they fought tonight and they scrapped tonight and had a chance to win this game."

"It's a tough place to play. These guys play well at home, and it's always been a tough place to play. In a close game, it seems like every game ends the same way. We are right there with a chance to win the game and they make some big shots. Garnett made some big shots tonight... It's just a play or two that's normally the difference in this building."

"We're still in the race. We lost this one, but we just have to continue to win. We've got to get ready for the Clippers on Friday, and take care of our home games."

Sonics Guard Ray Allen
"We still have eight to go, but this is the time of year when we have to maintain. We've put so much effort into games, and I think tonight it wasn't a pretty game. Minnesota didn't even have what it needed to have going, but they made key buckets down the stretch. We didn't get the stops, we didn't get the rebounds, we turned the ball over. We didn't get what we needed to get, and the game got out of control."

"I said before the game, KG is going to score 20 points and consistently somebody else has to score 20 — and tonight Hudson gave them 31. I think that was a big relief on KG's part, that he didn't have to do it all by himself."
