Wolves Host Draft Party and Interactive Show

The Wolves will host their annual draft party on Thursday, June 23 on the main floor of Target Center -- highlighted by appearances from Wolves players Ricky Rubio and Wes Johnson. The party will also feature Draft Live 2011, a unique, live interactive broadcast. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the draft starting at 6:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Rubio, the fifth overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft, and Johnson, the fourth overall pick in last year's draft, will both be on hand to celebrate with Wolves fans. The two will participate in a live Q & A and mingle with fans in attendance. Fans can ask direct questions to Rubio and Johnson as both players will also be featured on the Draft Live 2011 interactive broadcast.

In addition, Ballow and Focke will answer questions from fans that are submitted via timberwolves.com, Twitter (@MNTimberwolves), Facebook (timberwolvesfacebook.com), and Cover It Live. The broadcast will also feature video reaction from Timberwolves President of Basketball Operations David Kahn following the Wolves' draft picks.
