Wolves Re-Launch Pay the Pick

Minneapolis/St. Paul – One of the best deals in professional sports is back for a fourth season as the Timberwolves today announced the return of the "Pay the Pick" promotion in anticipation of this year's NBA Draft Lottery. Fans will have the opportunity to purchase an upper level season ticket that corresponds to the Wolves first-round draft selection -- as low as $1 per seat per game if the team gets the No. 1 pick and capped at $4 per seat per game.

Minnesota's draft position will be determined by the NBA Draft Lottery on Tuesday, May 17. The Wolves' draft position odds are as follows: No. 1 pick (25.0%), No. 2 Pick (21.5%), No. 3 (17.76%) and No. 4 (35.74%). Fans need to purchase their tickets prior to the NBA Draft Lottery to take advantage of the "Pay the Pick" promotion.

"We have had a fantastic response to our "Pay the Pick" promotion the past three years, and hope fans will once again jump on board as we head into what's sure to be an exciting offseason for our franchise," Timberwolves President Chris Wright said. "Once again, we're working to make the Timberwolves one of the most affordable and fan-friendly entertainment options in the Twin Cities."

The "Pay the Pick" promotion will culminate with the 2011 NBA Draft Lottery Party to be held at Huberts Sports Bar & Grill in Target Center on May 17 at 7 p.m., when the Wolves' draft pick will be determined. To take advantage of the "Pay the Pick" promotion, fans need to purchase their tickets prior to the draft lottery on May 17.
