Wolves Provide "More" Reasons to Join Pack
The Minnesota Timberwolves continue to give their fans "More" reasons to join their pack with the announcement of the team's new season ticket campaign. Following last season's highly successful "Run with the Pack" campaign, this year's "More" campaign provides a combination of an aggressive fan development program and great season ticket pricing all with the goal of providing more for season ticket holders. The first phase of the campaign, featuring the best pricing on seats, runs from March 1 - April 13.
"More" highlights the increased reasons to get involved now and become a Timberwolves season ticket holder. On the basketball court, the young Wolves squad features more athleticism, more length and more all-star play (i.e. Kevin Love), which has resulted in more electricity in Target Center than in recent seasons. Off the court, the Timberwolves and the team's Fan Development Program continue to provide more affordability, more customer service and more benefits to its season ticket holders that is second-to-none in the Twin Cities sports market. Wolves' fans can join the team's pack during the first phase of the "More" campaign (March 1 - April 13) for as little as $15 per game for select lower-level seats, one of the most affordable season ticket prices in professional sports. Those fans that commit during phase 1 of the campaign are guaranteed the best discounts and pricing for their seats.
"We have always strived to give our fans more in the way of affordable pricing and customer service, and we re-emphasized that last year with the creation of our Fan Development Program," said Timberwolves President Chris Wright. "We believe that the "more" we give our fans through great pricing, customer service and on-court excitement, the more that they will want to join our pack, creating a great home-court advantage inside Target Center. Despite our record, this season has provided some very exciting times on-court with Kevin Love's All-Star season, the emergence of Michael Beasley and the development of our young core of players. We believe that we are on the right track in terms of creating more excitement for our fans at Target Center."
The Timberwolves will once again have monthly payment options for season ticket buyers, allowing fans to divide the cost of their tickets into 12 monthly installments. The Wolves payment plans were introduced two seasons ago and have become extremely popular with fans. A leader in the sports industry with regards to customer service, the Timberwolves continue to offer more for their season ticket holders. Timberwolves season ticket holders receive their own personal client development representative, several opportunities throughout the season to interact with team management and personnel and an MVP Loyalty Benefits program.
The "More" ticket sales campaign will focus on new season ticket sales, with the creative of the campaign revolving around and highlighting the "More" of what the Wolves now have: athleticism, length, 31-31's, rebounds, assists, etc. The campaign's ad buys include: television, radio, digital outdoor, skyway signage, bus sides, transit stop posters and newspaper. Additionally, the campaign will be highlighted throughout Timberwolves television and radio broadcasts as well as on timberwolves.com.
