As the Wolves reconvened at the Life Time Fitness Training Center to work on late-game situations and focus on defensive assignments, there was a golden opportunity to get the players reactions to the new alternate black uniforms.
"On a scale of 1-10? About a 45," Michael Beasley definitively stated.

For the first time since the 2007-08 season, Minnesota will sport the black jersey for a special Black Friday game against the Detroit Pistons. The new uniform design and alternate color was a huge hit with the players on Thursday afternoon.

"I like this one a whole lot. I like the black, and the color scheme on it. I have some shoes that will go wonderful with this, so I'm very excited to wear this tomorrow," rookie Wes Johnson said.

Fans have the chance to purchase tickets and receive black uniform merchandise, more information here.

On a serious note, the team prepared for the Pistons, hoping to solve some of the issues that plagued the team in the previous two losses to New York and Oklahoma City. Darko Milicic participated in the practice session but head coach Kurt Rambis said the center was still hobbling with a right quad contusion. Martell Webster also worked out on Thursday; however, Rambis is not quite sure if he will be ready to suit up on Friday or Saturday in a road game against Chicago.
