Timberwolves Playoff Information
The Timberwolves are the fourth seed in the Western Conference and are facing the fifth-seeded L.A. Lakers in the first round of the 2003 NBA Playoffs. The first round is a best-of-seven format for the first time, and the Wolves earned homecourt advantage for the first time in their seven-year playoff history.

Mystikal Pregame Concert on Tuesday
Two-time Grammy nominated performer Mystikal ("Bouncin' Back" and "Shake it Fast") performed a special pregame concert before Game 5 on Tuesday. This special performance was available to all fans who purchased a Timberwolves playoff ticket for that night.
2003 Timberwolves Block Party
The Timberwolves Playoff Block Party was held Tuesday prior to Game 2. The block party featured live music from The Fanatics at the Target Sound Stage, former Gopher men's basketball players Jerry Holman and Kevin Burleson signing autographs at the Target Tent, and various additional interactive stations. Food and beverages were available from Miller, Pepsi, Rock Bottom, Old Chicago and Maui Wowi. All fans who made a free throw were entered into a drawing for two courtside seats (next to Minneapolis mayor R.T. Rybak) for Game 2.
