As winners of the "Play Video Games With Derrick Williams" sweepstakes, Noelle Patton and her two first grade sons got to do just that.

Yesterday, Williams, Patton and her sons faced off in a game of NBA 2K12, played from a couch in a Target Center suite with the game displayed on the scoreboard in the middle of the arena.

"It was pretty darn cool," Patton said. "I had a lot of fun. It was great getting to just talk with Derrick and see that he is indeed a real human, just like the rest of us."

And as if the experience wasn't enough, Patton won the game to boot.

"I annihilated them," she said, laughing.

Williams said he enjoyed himself as well, despite the defeat.

"Not too many people get a chance to play video games inside the arena, you know, with NBA players as well," Williams said. "When I was a little kid, I always wanted that too, so it was just a fun experience."
