Kings 127 (17-51) - Timberwolves 95 (17-54) | Target Center

The Minnesota Timberwolves felt the absence of Kevin Love in dramatic fashion, falling 127-95 to the Sacramento Kings on Sunday afternoon.

Minnesota started strong behind 10 first quarter points from Darko Milicic, but then lost its leader as Love exited the game in the second quarter and did not return with a sore left groin. As the Wolves attempted to play with an injured Michael Beasley and without Love, Minnesota struggled immensely during the second half from both ends of the floor. Love played 14 minutes and recorded 0 points, 4 assists, and 3 rebounds. Beasley finished with 13 points, but was rather ineffective due to a lingering bruised hip that was suffered Friday night in Los Angeles.

The Wolves narrowed the deficit to 81-75 behind a 12-3 run led by Luke Ridnour and Michael Beasley, but the Kings responded with a dominating 21-0 run to take a huge fourth quarter lead.
