Around 30 young ladies and one fit young gentleman made the nearly five-hour trek from Jamestown, N. Dak., on Friday night to perform in front of a live Timberwolves home crowd.

The gymnastics, ranging from elementary age and older, strutted out onto the Target Center court during halftime of the Wolves contest against the Detroit Pistons.

Their purple uniforms sparkled as they awaited the cue of their theme music. The song began and each gymnast took their turn running up towards a well-placed mini trampoline and a cushy blue mat.

One by one they ran up to the trampoline, jumped onto it, flipped into the air and landed eloquently onto the safety mats.

The group of young athletes is perfectly named the “Jamestown All-Starz” and the title was fitting during Friday night’s showing in front of the excitable Twin Cities crowd. The gymnasts won over fans as they showed off their flexibility while performing their flips and somersaults.
