Anthony Tolliver Gives Back
During the holiday season, Wolves forward Anthony Tolliver likes to give back. During his three-year career, he's given families the opportunity to spend some time with him and his organization, and he did so again this season.
Tolliver invited families to spend an afternoon with him this week, spending some time to enjoy a meal, presents and a chance to watch the Wolves play in a suite at Target Center.
"It's something I've tried to do over the last few years since I've been in the NBA, just reach out to a few families in the area and try to give them a better Christmas than they can give themselves," Tolliver said. "So I'm really blessed to do something like that, and I have a lot of fun doing it."
Those who were part of the festivities, like Nikkiyia Robinson, said they were appreciative for the opportunity to spend the holidays with the Wolves.
"I'm very grateful to be chosen to do this," Robinson said. "Very, very grateful to have dinner and meet Anthony and to watch the whole game, the whole team. I'm grateful for all of you guys."
