FastBreak Foundation Secures First-Ever Platinum Partner
The Minnesota Timberwolves FastBreak Foundation today announced its first-ever platinum-level partnership as the foundation has teamed up with the Roger and Nancy McCabe Foundation. As the platinum partner, the Roger and Nancy McCabe Foundation becomes the presenting sponsor of the Timberwolves FastBreak Foundation and its year-long initiatives.
As the FastBreak Foundation's presenting partner, The Roger and Nancy McCabe Foundation will be incorporated in the following programs/projects: the Foundation's monthly themes, signature monthly events, in-arena branding, online presence on team’s community page on timberwolves.com, FastBreak Foundation's giving opportunities and ambassadors for the FastBreak Foundation.
The McCabes have been supporters of the FastBreak Foundation for the previous three seasons. Roger and Nancy McCabe have shared their passion and resources toward recognizing and honoring Minnesota military personnel, and as a result have helped to grow the FastBreak Foundation's November initiative, Operation Minnesota Heroes, to new heights. Also, with the help of the McCabes, the FastBreak Foundation started Heroes United, a season-long military appreciation initiative. During each home game, the FastBreak Foundation honors Minnesota military personnel on court with each participant receiving tickets and a personalized jersey.
Additionally, the McCabes dedication to educating Minnesota youth has led to their involvement in the FastBreak Foundation's Read to Achieve program. The McCabe Foundation has co-sponsored November's Operation Minnesota Heroes month and March's Read to Achieve month for three seasons.
"We are thrilled to have Roger and Nancy McCabe as our first-ever platinum sponsor of the Timberwolves FastBreak Foundation," said Timberwolves President Chris Wright. "Roger and Nancy share our passion for growing the FastBreak Foundation with the goal of impacting as many lives in Minnesota as we can. It has been a great honor to get to know both of them through the years, and we look forward to working with them in the future. We truly appreciate the commitment that the McCabes have demonstrated to our Foundation."
"We have partnered with the Timberwolves FastBreak Foundation as a lot of our interests and support align," said Roger and Nancy McCabe. "We have found that the FastBreak Foundation can do more than we can do on our own. Being the first platinum partners, we hope that other foundations or individuals will want to join us in the FastBreak Foundation's yearlong initiatives."
