Dee Brown Workout Interview
After working out for the Timberwolves, along with Marcus Williams, Jose Juan Barea, and Mardy Collins, guard Dee Brown (right, talking to Wolves guard Rashad McCants) talked with Timberwolves.com about the draft.
timberwolves.com: What do you think of working out for teams?
Dee Brown: It’s wonderful man, being able to come to an organization and display your talent.
timberwolves.com: A couple of your teammates (Deron Williams and Luther Head) were drafted last year, have you talked to them about the draft process?
Dee Brown: Yeah, I went through it a little bit last year. You gotta work hard, go out there and be yourself and play. That’s what it’s all about. I mostly talk to those guys about things like, “how can I improve this?” or “how can I improve that?” They are motivating me. They are both in a good situation where they are living their dream out and I’m trying to follow in their footsteps and display my talents.
timberwolves.com: What kind of player do you see yourself as in the NBA?
Dee Brown: I’m going to be a great teammate, play my role, and do whatever my team needs me to do.
