Wolves Players Featured On 2010 All-Star Ballot
The official 2010 NBA All-Star Ballot was unveiled today during a special tip-off event in Dallas, the Official Host City of NBA All-Star 2010. Al Jefferson, Kevin Love and Ramon Sessions will represent the Timberwolves on the ballot as fans worldwide have the opportunity to vote for their favorite players as starters for the 59th NBA All-Star Game. The 2010 NBA All-Star Game, which will air live on TNT and ESPN Radio in the U.S., and in more than 200 countries and territories in more than 40 languages, will be played at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, before an expected crowd of more than 80,000 -- the largest group ever to witness a live basketball game -- on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010.
Jefferson, Love and Sessions are all looking for their first NBA All-Star Game appearance. Jefferson led the Wolves in scoring and rebounding the past two seasons. In 2008-09, he was averaging career-highs of 23.1 ppg and 11.0 rpg before being sideling for the final 32 games due to injury. In eight games this season, Jefferson is averaging a 15.3 ppg and 6.1 rpg.
Love has yet to appear in a game this season after undergoing surgery for a fractured metacarpal in his left hand. In 2008-09, Love led all rookies, and finished ninth in the NBA, in rebounding at 9.1 rpg. He also averaged 11.1 ppg.
Sessions came to the Wolves as free agent this offseason. With Milwaukee in 2008-09, Sessions averaged 12.4 ppg, 3.4 rpg and 5.7 apg. He currently is averaging 5.8 ppg, 4.1 rpg and 2.4 apg.
Balloting for Wolves fans starts in-arena on Wednesday, Nov. 11, when the Wolves host the Portland Trail Blazers at 7 p.m. Fans can cast their votes at each NBA arena; in 20 languages on NBA.com; and through mobile phones by texting the player's last name to 6-9-6-2-2 ("MYNBA"), via Web2GoŽ on T-Mobile phones or wap.nba.com for any wireless carrier.

Starters will be announced live on TNT on Thursday, Jan. 21, 2010.
