"Like any team, someone has got to step up. You have an injury, a situation, someone has to step up and play well. Whether we are going bigger or smaller, Dallas presents problems. [Erik] Dampier inside as a big, physical presence and [Dirk] Nowitzki with his ability to post up and shoot outside, they even have post up advantages with [Shawn] Marion. It's something we are going to have to deal with as a team."
Rambis on adjusting the lineup:
"Not yet, no, we've played around with a couple of ideas. Again, with this team and with our situation, we might change it every game just based on matchups. We'll address that more as a coaching staff tomorrow."
Press Release:
The Minnesota Timberwolves today announced that center Al Jefferson has left the team to tend to a family member's illness in Florida. Jefferson will miss the next two Wolves games - Friday, Nov. 13 vs. Dallas and Saturday, Nov. 14 at Memphis. He will re-join the team early next week.
