Tuesday Practice Notes
The Wolves return to the Target Center after capturing their third victory on Sunday night over the Detroit Pistons. Minnesota will face the Phoenix Suns and the three-headed monster of Shaquille O'Neal, Amare Stoudemire, and Steve Nash. The Suns typically are a fast break type of squad but have relied more on the inside production with new head coach Terry Porter.
JB Bickerstaff provides a scouting report on the Suns at Tuesday's practice. The interview includes the game plan for the Wolves to contain Shaq, the recent success for Randy Foye, and how the team is effectively protecting the basketball.
JB BickerstaffJason Collins draws the difficult task of guarding Shaq on Wednesday night. At practice on Tuesday, the coaches worked with Collins on the outside jump shot to draw the legendary center out of the lane. Collins will play a significant role against the Suns if the Wolves expect a victory tomorrow night.
