Thursday Practice Notes
The Wolves go for two straight victories on Friday night with a challenge against the defending World Champion Boston Celtics. Last year, Minnesota fell to the Celtics in both meetings. This year, for the first time since the trade, Kevin Garnett will make an appearance at the Target Center in a Boston uniform.
JB Bickerstaff sits down for a scouting report on the Celtics. The interview includes keys to the games, the type of atmosphere Wolves fans should expect, and a reaction to Paul Pierce's offseason proclamation that he is the best player in the league.
JB BickerstaffCraig Smith is fresh off a season-high 21-point performance in the win over the 76ers. The forward used his strength to defend Elton Brand and Smith played a key role in order for the Wolves to break the eight-game losing streak. Smith is now ready to face Garnett in one of the biggest match ups of the year for Minnesota.
Craig SmithHead coach Randy Wittman looks ahead to a home game against Boston. Wittman likes the play from Smith, Mike Miller, and Randy Foye. He also feels the two solid performances against Boston last year will help the Wolves play with confidence on Friday night.
Randy WittmanOn this edition of Wolves Wrap, we take a look back at the week that was, go in depth with Craig Smith, meet Assistant Coach Ed Pinckney in the Coaches Corner and go Off The Court. It's all here, all Wolves, in the Wolves Wrap.
