Rod Johnson

The booming and unmistakably familiar voice of the Minnesota Timberwolves is none other than that of Rod Johnson. Rod has been the public address announcer for the Timberwolves since the 1996-97 season. When he's not being heard by the masses at Target Center, he is conducting fundraising activities with his own company, Johnson Auctioneering. As a nationally known auctioneer, Rod is a Minnesota and Wisconsin State Championship Auctioneer as well as a past finalist in the International Auctioneer Championship.

Rod and his wife, Bernie, reside in Cannon Falls, Minnesota where he currently serves as the director of Shepherd’s Center of the Cannon Valley. Rod has four sons; three serve in the military and one works in the Basketball Ops Department for the Timberwolves.

Katie graduated from the University of Minnesota and joined the Timberwolves organization as an in-arena host during the 2013-2014 Season. She may be in her second season on the mic, but has been watching from the stands since she was 6. Katie is a familiar face around the Target Center as a host with the Minnesota Lynx, the NCHC Frozen Faceoff.

When she's not cheering on her favorite teams, Katie works at a local sports marketing firm in Minneapolis where she continues her passion to better fan experiences at sporting events around the world. Off the court, a few of Katie's interests include traveling, fishing, spending time with her French Bulldog Pierre and of course...getting to know our Timberwolves fans! She is originally from Saint Paul, MN.

Although 2014-2015 is his first season as an in-arena host for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Jon is no stranger to Target Center; he has been a lifelong Timberwolves fan and a season ticket member since the 2009-2010 Season.

Before joining the Timberwolves, Jon worked in the promotions department for a Twin Cities radio station for 8 years, bringing fun and excitement to listeners at events. Currently, Jon works on a mobile app for a Minneapolis-based retailer that helps guests save money while shopping at their stores.

Jon makes his home in the northern part of Minneapolis where he and his wife are expecting their first little Timberwolves fan in March of 2015.
