2003-04 MVP and Defensive Player of the Year Candidate: Kevin Garnett

Kevin Garnett has been worth the price of admission all by himself this season, as the versatile forward has taken his game to another level. Garnett ranks first in the NBA in rebounds (13.9 rpg), first in double-doubles (68), first in Efficiency Rating (32.94) and third in scoring (24.2 ppg).

On the defensive end, the numbers only begin to tell the story. Garnett's 2.13 blocks per game (10th) and 1.44 steals per game (19th) top the Wolves, but his overall presence on the defensive end is invaluable. Minnesota is on pace to set team-high records for fewest points allowed, lowest opponent field goal percentage, fewest opponent field goals allowed and most defensive rebounds.
