In Arena Hosts
Natalie Kane Bio
If you feel like you recognize Minnesota Timberwolves In-Arena Host Natalie Kane but aren't quite sure how, maybe it's because you've been seeing her on the court at Target Center for seven seasons. Natalie started with the Timberwolves Dance Team back in 2001 before trading in her dance prowess for a microphone in 2006. She now starts her third season with the Wolves as an in-arena host. Thanks to a background in broadcast journalism, the transition to in-arena host was a natural one for Natalie. Should you come down for a Wolves' game, you can see Natalie before, during and after Al Jefferson and Co. do their business; she'll be hosting contests, running promotions, interacting with fans and having fun with co-host Mike Rylander.
Natalie loves to connect with and entertain people, and is always ready for a conversation. "I love living in Minnesota, I love the Timberwolves, I also love meeting new friends and - many would say - talking. I've been lucky enough to blend many of my passions together and somehow call it a job!" Outside of the Target Center, Natalie is a TV host for the CW, as well as a host/reporter for several shows on FSN North.
Off the court, Natalie's favorite of her many interests are music and traveling. "I've seen a lot of the world so far in this life, and I plan on seeing it all. But all of the travel has really made me appreciate how much I love Minnesota and the people here. It's my home."
Mike Rylander Bio
Mike is thrilled to be spending his third season with the Minnesota Timberwolves as the In-Arena Game Host / Co-Announcer. What does that mean do you ask? Well, Mike helps bring the fans together through a variety of live, interactive contests & promotions (including the coveted t-shirt toss) during all Timberwolves Home Games. Not only is Mike an employee of the team, he is also one of their biggest fans. In fact, Mike literally bleeds white & blue... Okay - maybe that part isn't true, but he has been known to hit the upper deck during the t-shirt toss.
Mike originally hails from Minot, North Dakota, where he was an All-Conference football player, captain of high school math team, and named "Actor of the Year" by the thespian club. Theatrically, Mike has performed with several Minneapolis theatre companies. He also serves as a Live Event Emcee for FSN North, and an On-Air Personality for The CW Twin Cities. In 2007, Mike was named one of "50 Sexiest Bachelors in America" by Cosmopolitan Magazine. (Learn more at mikerylander.com)
