The Extreme Team, a group of 24 professional dancers and stunters that perform at Timberwolves home games, visited Hurlburt and Eglin Air Force Bases in Florida. While at Hurlburt Field, the team visited a childcare center as well as participated in the national kickoff of the military's charitable giving program.

At Eglin Air Force Base, the team spent time in the Air Traffic Control Tower, learning about the systems used as aircraft come in and out of Eglin Air Force Base. Eglin generally sees more than 500 aircraft per day. In addition to touring the base, the team ate meals with the soldiers, signed countless autographs, gave out Timberwolves merchandise and performed an hour-long show at the base exchange, entertaining soldiers and their families.

To close out the weekend, the team paid their respects at the memorial for soldiers killed in Saudi Arabia from Eglin Air Force Base.

As the team experienced life on this military base, they felt a great sense of pride in the men and women that serve and protect the people of the United States. These goodwill appearances provide the Timberwolves a great way to give back to the men and women who work so hard to guarantee we all have the freedom we are accustomed to.
