2016-17 Minnesota Timberwolves Fastbreak Foundation Grant Application Form
The Minnesota Timberwolves FastBreak Foundation provides and supports hands-on programs that positively impact Minnesota youth. Through giving, education, and basketball opportunities, the Foundation enables young people to make responsible decisions, contribute to their future, and experience life-long memories..
Each month during the 2016-17 season the FastBreak Foundation will focus on a specific area of giving. The month will feature events and two $5,000 grants to organizations that best fit the theme and fulfills the mission of the Foundation. Below is a list of monthly themes and application due dates.
October - New Seasons, New Beginnings | Due Date: 09.09.16
Organizations that offer youth a new direction or opportunity.
November - Operation Minnesota Heroes | Due Date: 09.23.16
Organizations supporting Minnesota Military troops and their families.
December - Season of Giving | Due Date: 10.21.16
Organizations that serve families in need during the holiday season.
January- WolvesFit | Due Date: 11.18.16
Organizations that focus efforts on health and fitness for youth.
February - Read To Achieve | Due Date: 12.23.16
Organizations that focus on literacy and encourage a lifelong love for reading.
March - WolvesCare | Due Date: 01.20.17
Organizations that focus efforts on supporting children fighting life-threatening illness.
April - Think Green | Due Date: 02.17.17
Organizations that focus on preserving and improving the environment.
The Minnesota Timberwolves FastBreak Foundation has moved to a rolling deadline grant application process. All grant proposals are due 6 weeks prior to the start of the month in which you are applying for. Grant winners will be selected 3 weeks prior to the start of the month in which you are applying for. Grant proposals must be postmarked no later than the dates listed above.
