FastBreak Foundation Honors Thanksgiving Meals On Wheels Program

The Minnesota Timberwolves FastBreak Foundation and the Spire Credit Union recognized a group that has been serving the metro for the last 45 years.

Before Monday’s game against the Golden State Warriors, the Thanksgiving Meals On Wheels Program was presented with a team signed basketball via Timberwolves President Chris Wright and Spire Credit Union CEO Dan Stoltz.

There on behalf of Thanksgiving Meals on Wheels was founder Bill Foussard.

Thanksgiving Meals On Wheels is a program that prepares and delivers a traditional Thanksgiving meal to Twin Cities families in need. In fact, this last Thanksgiving (their 45th year in service), 2,500 volunteers prepared more than 20,000 dinners which were delivered to 4,000 families throughout the metro.

"It's just exciting," Foussard said on being recognized by the Wolves.

The organization, along with family and friends of the organization, sat in a suite for the game and was able to enjoy some snacks while watching the Wolves.

"Oh, my," Foussard said of his seats. "It's incredible. Thank (the Timberwolves) so much."
