During the month of December, the FastBreak Foundation's Season of Giving presented by WorldVision will focus on organizations and events that work to improve the holiday season for Minnesotans in need through in-game elements, special events and a grant, as well as recognize those in the community who embody the spirit of the season through their work to assist others.
Heroes in the Making: Do you know someone who goes above and beyond in the community? The Timberwolves FastBreak Foundation wants to hear about those in the community who give their time and passion to inspire us. Whether it's a family member, an outstanding volunteer, a great neighbor or that special someone who always inspires you to be better, we want to know. You can submit your Hero online by clicking here.
Basketball Clinic: The Timberwolves FastBreak Foundation will help area children fine tune their basketball skills as the Timberwolves Coaching staff helps to teach basketball fundamentals.
Holiday Shopping for Kids: The 5th Annual Holiday Shopping for Kids will kick off at the Target Center, where the Timberwolves, teaming up with MARN (Minnesota Adoption Resource Network) will surprise 25 kids who are in the foster system with a holiday shopping spree at Target.
