Timberwolves Heroes United

Heroes United During each home game, the Minnesota Timberwolves FastBreak Foundation along with the Roger and Nancy McCabe Foundation will be honoring Minnesota’s military personnel as part of our heroes united program.

Each Hero is recognized on-court and is presented a personalized Timberwolves jersey by the coaching staff.

New Seasons New Beginnings New Seasons, New Beginnings reflects the excitement and opportunity a new NBA season brings, not only to basketball enthusiasts, but also to the communities in which we play. It means highlighting those who work hard to produce new opportunities for Minnesota's youth by creating renewed spaces and energy, as well as positive attitudes towards learning and community development.

Operation Minnesota Heroes Operation Minnesota Heroes Month, presented by the Roger and Nancy McCabe Foundation and POPP Communications, honors, serves and recognizes Minnesota's troops and their families. The goal of this campaign is to demonstrate the organization's support and appreciation of those working to protect our country at home and abroad.

Read to Achieve One of the cornerstone initiatives of the Minnesota Timberwolves FastBreak Foundation is Read to Achieve, a program that encourages youth throughout Minnesota to develop a life-long love of reading. Through various activities throughout the month, the FastBreak Foundation celebrates youth readers, honors volunteers in the community that make a difference for literacy and creates awareness of the importance of reading.

OFFSEASON

Offseason in the Community

Throughout the off-season, the Minnesota Timberwolves FastBreak Foundation and the Minnesota Timberwolves are busy planning for the upcoming 2012- 2013 season.

To stay connected with our community during the off-season the FastBreak Foundation, staff and season ticket holders will be participating in monthly volunteer projects to help support non profits across the Twin Cities.

Grant applications will start to be accepted from August 2012 until mid-September. Each month during the season The FastBreak Foundation will focus on a specific area of giving and distribute two grants to organizations that best fit the theme and fulfill the mission of the Foundation. We strongly encourage your organization to join our process this year and look forward to learning more about your efforts in our community. Look for the application will be available online at timberwolves.com in early August 2012.
