LIVE PROGRAMMING AND ENTERTAINMENT
The purpose of this department is to consistently create a unique, fun and exciting fan experience during every Minnesota Timberwolves and Minnesota Lynx home game. Additionally, this department plays a vital role in supporting and communicating organizational initiatives and platforms through in-arena elements and department resources.
In-arena performance groups include:
Accounting measures and records business transactions, reports financial and non-financial data that assist leaders in making decisions, distributes financial statements based on generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and helps managers track budget as a primary method of managing monetary resources.Box Office
The Box Office focuses on all ticket customers and on making the buying experience an exceptional one. The Box Office's goal is to accurately build and manifest games and events on the Ticketmaster (TM) system, successfully distribute tickets, provide premium service to all customers, safeguard ticket stock and secure cash and cash equivalents in a fiduciary manner.Human Resources
The Human Resources department is dedicated to partnering with all departments to maximize the potential of our greatest asset, our employees! HR is committed to developing and implementing programs and processes that support our organizations' vision, mission, values and blueprint for the future.
MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONSAnalytics & Research
The purpose of the Analytics Department is to create and execute data collection and email marketing campaigns in coordination with all the departments to grow our database, learn more about our customers and generate ticket sales revenue.
The purpose of the Broadcast Department is to use the most powerful tools available to deliver our product and messages to our fans in a dynamic and engaging fashion whether through the in-arena show, television and radio broadcasts or on the Internet.
The work of the Community Relations department strengthens our relationship in the community, supports corporate revenue and ticket sales and is the principal marketer of one of three values of our brand: “community focus.”
The Creative Services Department concepts, designs and produces all major print communication and sales materials and publications to ensure consistent branding across all departments.
Previously Interactive Services, the Digital Media department focuses on creating processes to efficiently manage departmental needs for our websites and other interactive initiatives, providing site analytical reports to Corporate Services/Sales and building our brand throughout popular social networking environments.
The Information Systems Department maintains computer equipment, supports computer users, procures computer equipment and acts as a technology resource for the company.
The Marketing department utilizes strategic planning, targeted event marketing for the entire calendar year, advertising and promotion and partnerships to drive all ticket selling platforms.
The Public Relations Department promotes our organizational message through the media, generates positive coverage for our teams, supports marketing/ticket sales initiatives and business goals and manages information during team crisis situations.
SALES AND SERVICEBasketball Academy
The purpose of this department is to promote the game of basketball to youth and coaching participants in Minnesota. The department leaders create and execute programs for kids of all ages, skill set, and interests. This includes: pre-game clinics, off-site clinics, individual and team training, as well as 5-on-5 and 3-on-3 tournaments.
The Group Events Department is primarily responsible for developing fans and driving revenue through products on our group ticket menu.
The Inside Sales department is the entry point for many sales people into the organization. The primary focus is to develop and nurture client relationships focusing on both full and partial season memberships for the MN Timberwolves and Lynx.
Partnership Sales and Activation
The Partnership Sales department is charged with maximizing sponsor revenue and delivering corporate support for virtually every department within our organization. Our Services department centers around the execution of the team’s sponsorship agreements by over delivering on each contracted element, providing the highest level of service, and proactively representing each company within our organization to maximize potential partnership opportunities.
The Premium Seating department is charged with maximizing the revenue generating opportunities and providing a first-class experience for the Executive Suites, Treasure Island Terrace and the Lexus Courtside Club
Season Ticket Sales
The Season Ticket Sales Department is charged with maximizing ticket revenue and creating packages that appeal to all types of fans and buyers. Whether it’s a two game mini plan or a full season ticket plan, our department is the driving force behind other revenue generators in the company.
