Warriors Sweep
This is about as surprising as getting a surprise birthday party thrown on your 50th birthday.
Don't act surprised, Ron. You knew this party was coming.
With last night’s 128-103 win over the Blazers in Portland, the Warriors completed the series sweep.
Only one win out of the four wasn’t in double digits. We knew that the Blazers didn’t really have a chance even though Damian Lillard said they’d win in six, which is now impossible.
Stephen Curry averaged 29.8 points in the series and shot 42.2 percent from the 3-point line. Remember when he was having a down season? Lol. You guys are funny.
Draymond Green flexed his “Defensive Player Of The Year” muscles and averaged 4.3 blocks per game. Green is 6-7 and should not be averaging 4.3 blocks per game.
The Blazers will go up against the Jazz or the Blake Griffen-less Clippers in round two. Until then, the Warriors get to rest and all be best friends becomes that seems to be what they are.

Double Digits For Everybody!
The Hawks won 111-101 over the Wizards in Atlanta to tie the series up at 2-2.
No player scored more than 19 points for the Hawks, which seems illegal. Paul Millsap led the way with 19 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.
The most pleasant production came from center Dwight Howard, who turned back the clock a bit, finishing with 16 points and 15 rebounds. Howard was a nonfactor in the first three games, but if he can continue to play like this, maybe the Hawks have a chance in this series?
Nobody on Washington shot particularly well. Bradley Beal scored 32 points on 11-for-23 shooting, but the rest of the starting lineup shot a combined 16-for-43.
Game 5 is set for Wednesday in Washington. It’s a 5 p.m. tip so make sure to leave work early or maybe just don’t go to work at all.
Stormin’ Norman
I hope that’s not actually Norman Powell’s real nickname. If so, we’ve gotta get Norman some better friends.
But Powell was great last night for the Raptors, finishing with a team-high 25 points to lead the Raptors to a 118-93 win, giving them a 3-2 series lead over the Bucks.
Powell only scored 20 or points six times during the regular season, so this performance wasn’t exactly expected.
The Raptors shot a scorching 57.7 percent from the field and 44.4 percent from the 3-point line. The temperature in Toronto actually increased from 46 degrees to 54 degrees during the game. Did it have something to do with Serge Ibaka shooting 8-for-10? Probably not, but I can’t tell you for certain.
Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with a classic ho-hum 30-point, nine-rebound game to lead the Bucks, but only Malcolm Brogdon and Greg Monroe scored more than nine points for Milwaukee.
In this series, The Greek Freak is averaging 23 points, 9.8 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 2.2 steals per game. If the Bucks want to force a Game 7, they’ll need him to be at his absolute best.
Game 6 is set for Thursday in Milwaukee.
