The Minnesota Timberwolves and forward Kevin Love today agreed to a four-year contract extension. Love has been with the Timberwolves since being acquired in a draft-day trade in 2008.

Kevin Love scored a game-high 31 points with 10 rebounds Wednesday to help the Timberwolves beat the Mavs 105-90, the second time this month Minnesota has beaten the NBA champs. Ricky Rubio had 17 points and 12 assists and Wayne Ellington scored 16 as Minnesota ruined the Mavs' ring ceremony.
