Lateshia and Krystal Meet Xzibit

Hey, everyone! It's Lateshia here and I have to tell you about my latest Ford Center star sighting.

Krystal and I were walking back to the Thunder Girls locker room last Tuesday night (another exciting win for our team) when we literally ran right into Xzibit outside of the Courtside Club! For those of you who have no idea who I am talking about, Xzibit is a very talented rap superstar/actor/car enthusiast (I know there are some "Pimp My Ride" fan out there).

Being a Thunder Girl for almost two years now, I've seen many famous athletes and celebrities at the Ford Center, but I never expected Xzibit to be one of them. He was a guest on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, which has been filming in Oklahoma for the past week, and he thought he'd check out our NBA team in his spare time. (Shereka went to the home unveiling, so stay tuned for her journal entry.)

I wish I could say that we kept our cool and continued on our way, but how could we do that? This is XZIBIT, after all! Krystal and I were so excited to meet him that we immediately introduced ourselves. He was so incredibly nice and we even got to take a picture with him (look how big we are smiling). I was very impressed that somebody of Xzibit's status was that attentive to his fans and that he was so kind to two star-struck girls like us.
