The worker’s mentality that Thabeet has brought with him to the Thunder has only been matched by his kindheartedness and passion for being a part of the team. The first man to support his teammates regardless of success or failure, Thabeet is an integral piece to the Thunder’s puzzle season and has a role that impacts winning by staying ready at all times for his number to be called. By keeping correct defensive positioning, guarding the pick-and-roll with the right coverage and playing solid interior defense, Thabeet’s impact on the defensive end can have a major effect on the game. On the offensive end, Thabeet is a threat from the dunker spot just outside of the lane, where he can catch and make an easy finish. In addition Thabeet has shown a knack for setting solid screens, fighting for offensive rebounds and making kick-outs to waiting jump shooters.
