The Thunder’s second of two first round picks in the 2013 NBA Draft, Roberson came to the Thunder after putting together a three-year career at Colorado that was capped by averaging the second most rebounds per game out of anyone in the NCAA. As a versatile defender who can mark both guards and forwards, the Thunder believes Roberson can develop into a two-way player that can impact the floor with both his length and athleticism. With veterans like Thabo Sefolosha and Kevin Durant in front of him at the wing positions, Roberson has a number of role models to look up to as he learns the small details necessary to become a perimeter stopper and a player that can score within the flow of the Thunder’s offense and by attacking the offensive boards. Roberson has spent time with the Tulsa 66ers while still managing to start 16 games for the Thunder when called upon this season.
